Our Night Shift hours are Monday-Thursday 5:00pm-5:00am.
What You'll Do:

  • Read and understand assigned blueprints prior to starting a project.
  • Process steel by working from blueprints and/or cut sheets.
  • Load, install and correctly setup the tooling for various tasks by selecting correct feeds, speeds, blade gaps and/or tooling for the job.
  • Operate overhead bridge cranes and jib cranes.
  • Operate saws, Ironworkers, and various machines as assigned.
  • Operate portable mag drills.
  • Order and call for steel from material handlers.
  • Mix and maintain coolant levels in saws and drill presses.
  • Set up, layout and operate a variety of production machines to include but not limited to: press brake 1250t-330t, burn tables/plasma cutting machines, hydraulic cutting saws, mills, drills, cutting torches to cut, bend, form, and clean production parts for steel fabrication.
  • Load and prepare pallets of processed steel for the next process.
  • Maintain housekeeping and organization of area.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We Need from You:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read and analyze blueprints.
  • Basic reading, writing, measuring, and math aptitude.
  • 6+ months or more in the manufacturing industry
  • Ability to utilize crane systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred.
  • Experience using plasma cutting machine preferred.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, crouch, use hands and fingers to push, pull, carry reach above head and lift and lower over 40lbs. The employee may also be required to work at heights.
