Job description

Job Title: Business Systems IT Manager

Classification: Exempt full time

Reports to: Sr. Director of IT

Position Backup: Sr. Director of IT

A. PURPOSE

Under the leadership of the Director of Information Technology, the business systems IT manager will play a pivotal role in Del Real Foods’ digital transformation. The business systems manager identifies and implements software solutions to optimize business operations and minimize the complexities of operational processes, creates processes and protocols for software systems, troubleshoots problems, and leads the business technology team in designing systems, and collaborates with business partners and other department leaders to ensure that the software solutions align with the company’s operational goals and help produce desirable business outcomes.

B. DUTIES

Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management.

  1. Provide systems management and end-user support for Microsoft Dynamics AX (ERP/WMS)
  2. Maintain other critical applications such as EDI, QMS, MES, DMS, HCM, etc.
  3. Implement new technologies such as EPM, CRM, MES that support organizational goals and objectives.
  4. Build and maintain data management and reporting platform with these technologies: SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, etc.
  5. Develop SSRS and Power BI reports. Collect, cleanse, and analyze data to help business leaders make decisions.
  6. Optimize the organization’s use of existing technologies such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Flow, SharePoint, Copilot, Synapse, etc.
  7. Analyze, design and implement process improvement changes across different departments.
  8. Provide Root Cause Analysis, recommended resolution.
  9. Communicate fluently and effectively with all levels of business users, technical teams, and management across the organization.
  10. Manage a team of internal systems analysts, and external resources.
  11. Maintain user security in the enterprise applications level.
  12. May require evening and weekend work of systems support in response to business needs.
  13. Assist Director of IT in ROI study and budget prioritization of technology implementation.

D. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field

  2. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ERP and WMS implementation.
  3. Experience in database environments such as Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
  4. Programming experiences in languages such as Python, PHP, Visual Studio .Net, ASP.NET, C# / VB, JavaScript, X++ for AX, etc.
