This posting is for Summer2027 New Graduate opportunities. IMEG is hiring a Bridge Engineering New Graduate in Medley, FL. This entry-level role offers hands‑on design, analysis, and project execution experience, with mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow your expertise from day one. You will support structural design and detailing for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other transportation type structures. In this role, you will work within project budgets, support project planning and design documentation, and collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to help meet project goals and client expectations. You will contribute across transportation and bridge work while delivering resilient, environmentally responsible infrastructure.

  • Prioritize safety and regulatory compliance in all aspects of engineering work, and interpret state and local design criteria for specific project needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD bridge design code
  • Experience with hydraulic design for bridges and roadway design
  • Experience with NBIS Bridge Inspection
  • Basic skills or knowledge with AutoCAD Civil 3Dsoftware and the ability to complete AutoCAD training sessions as quickly as possible
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight stays
  • Preferred Master’s Degree (MS) in Structural Engineering
  • Preferred Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry
  • Preferred Engineering in Training (EIT) License
