Interns typically assist with non-invasive cosmetic procedures, patient consultations, and pre- and post-treatment care under the supervision of experienced professionals. It is ideal for nursing students or recent graduates interested in the medical aesthetics field.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an internship medical spa RN?

To thrive as an Internship Medical Spa RN, you need a current RN license, foundational nursing skills, and a basic understanding of cosmetic and dermatological procedures. Familiarity with clinical tools such as lasers, injectables, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems is often required. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn make candidates stand out in this internship. These qualifications and attributes are important for delivering safe, effective patient care while adapting to the unique environment of a medical spa.

What types of procedures and treatments will I assist with as an internship medical spa RN?

As an Internship Medical Spa RN, you will typically assist with a range of non-invasive cosmetic procedures, such as injectables (Botox and fillers), laser treatments, chemical peels, and skin rejuvenation therapies.
