Job description

Overview
Helps the PACS/RIS network Administrator do the following: Plans, direct and supervise all technical aspects for the PACS system in regards to services, programs and evaluation of such programs. Helps develop, implement and evaluates PACS policies with the Director of Imaging and others as needed. Coordinates the budget and PACS expansions with the Imaging Services Director and Chief Information Officer.
Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
Education:
Require Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university. May consider extensive experience in lieu of degree.
Experience:
Prefer 5 years clinical experience in applicable field. Prefer PACS and/or RIS experience.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be able to become proficient in use of hospital MIS system and department RIS computer system.
