Position: IT Analytics & Automation Co-op 

Location: Mississauga, ON 

Duration: 4 months Compensation: $25.00-37.50

Responsibilities

As an IT Analytics & Automation Internship Intern, you will work with various business functions across PepsiCo Foods Canada, and will be responsible for gathering requirements, building applications, modernizing business processes, and driving innovation. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Use tools like PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Databricks to build applications, automate processes, and deliver scalable data solutions 
  • Design and develop automation workflows using Power Automate to streamline repetitive business processes and reduce manual effort 
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into centralized reporting environments 
  • Perform data transformation and preparation in Databricks, leveraging notebooks and SQL to clean, model, and structure data for analytics and reporting 
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to address real-world business challenges 
  • Gather and define project requirements, scope, and objectives with clients 
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders 
  • Present data-driven insights through business intelligence tools to broader teams and business stakeholders 
Qualifications
  • Motivated learner enrolled in a Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or IT related program 
  • Previous work experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role preferred 
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies 
  • Solid communication, organizational/time-management skills required 
  • Strong skills in developing presentations and reports 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SQL preferred 
  • Experience or familiarity with ETL concepts and data transformation techniques is an asset 
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms is an asset 
  • Working experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate are assets. 
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to build collaborative relationships!
