Job description

Who Are We?
At Revolution Learning, we are more than an educational institution; we are a launchpad for dedicated educators shaping the future. Specializing in courses like Entrepreneurship, Graphic Design, Coding, Engineering, Science, History, Math, and ELA, we aim to create an environment where teachers can connect with students and ignite their passions.

Why Teach With Us?
We understand that teaching often comes with overwhelming responsibilities like lesson planning, grading, and administrative work. At Revolution Learning, we remove those barriers so you can focus on what really matters โ€“ connecting with students and driving their success.

  • Pre-Designed Curriculum: We provide a structured, student-centered math intervention curriculum tailored to meet the needs of learners who are behind grade level.

  • Training and Support: Youโ€™ll receive extensive support and training in math intervention strategies and tools, so you can feel confident in the classroom from day one.

  • Focus on Teaching: With materials and planning taken care of, you can fully dedicate your energy to impactful instruction and meaningful student relationships.

  • Targeted Instruction: Our Math Lab classes replace students' traditional math periods and focus on building essential skills in small groups to help them get back on track.

About This Role:
Weโ€™re looking for compassionate, committed educators to teach Math Learning Lab classes to high school students during the 2026โ€“2027 school year. These classes are designed as small-group intervention sessions for students who are significantly behind in math. Youโ€™ll work with a pre-designed curriculum focused on numeracy, problem-solving, and foundational skills, using methods that build confidence and mastery. This is not advanced or enrichment mathโ€”itโ€™s focused remediation designed to meet students where they are.

Location:
This role is in-person at one of our partner schools in Brooklyn, NY. Most of our partners are Jewish, single-gender schools.

Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 11:00 - 3:30ย

Requirements:

  • Charismatic, student-focused personality

  • Strong interest in helping struggling learners

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree (preferred)

  • Experience teaching math or working with students in intervention settings (preferred)

  • Familiarity with math intervention tools or willingness to train

  • 1โ€“2 years of teaching experience

Salary:
$50โ€“$60/hr

Apply today and help students rebuild their confidence in math with Revolution Learning!
