Position Summary

The Busser/Food Runner is a key member of our Food & Beverage team, ensuring every guest enjoys prompt, attentive, and seamless dining service. This position supports both restaurant and banquet operations by delivering food with accuracy, maintaining impeccable dining areas, anticipating guest needs, and assisting servers in providing an elevated dining experience.

Success in this role requires professionalism, attention to detail, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to outstanding guest service.

Schedule

Part-Time

Monday – Sunday

Typical shifts:

11:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Weekend and holiday availability required.

Compensation:

$16.90 an hour plus tips

What You'll Do

Guest Experience

  • Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Support servers in delivering exceptional dining experiences from arrival through departure.
  • Anticipate guest needs by refilling water glasses, clearing finished plates, and maintaining clean, organized tables.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
  • Help create an inviting, polished dining atmosphere throughout every service.

Food Running

  • Carefully verify each plate against the kitchen ticket to ensure accuracy, quality, and presentation before delivery.
  • Deliver food promptly while maintaining proper food presentation and temperature.
  • Communicate effectively with culinary staff regarding any discrepancies before food leaves the kitchen.
  • Ensure every meal reflects the quality standards of Maderas Golf Club.

Dining Room Operations

  • Set and reset tables according to Maderas Golf Club service standards.
  • Remove completed courses efficiently and discreetly.
  • Replace linens, silverware, glassware, and napkins while maintaining impeccable presentation.
  • Maintain clean, organized dining rooms throughout service.

Team Support

  • Stock service stations with all necessary supplies.
  • Assist restaurant and banquet staff as needed during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service stations.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management to support daily operations.
