Cylinder Loader / Sorter
Hammond, IN, United States req32292 Work Schedule: 2nd shift 1pm-9:30pm (subject to change)
What you will enjoy doing*
  • In this role you will adhere to all Linde plc Safety Policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe lifting techniques, and sitespecific safety requirements
  • You will apply basic Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Control pronciples to all tasks
  • Count incoming cylinders, verify lot numbers and load/unload trucks as required
  • Responsible for inspecting returned cylinders for surface defects and following procedures for safe handling and storage
  • Identify and separate defective cylinders from production and transfer them to designated quarantine areas
  • You will review, document and confiirm proper calibration of equipment ensuring all equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance
  • Safely operate a forklift and hand truck to suppport loading, unloading and warehouse material movement
  • Fill cylinders in accordance with established guidelines,including completing all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections and maintaining cylinder filling records in compliance with applicable regulations

  • Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is preferred, with the ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds and maneuver weights up to 100 pounds, while working outdoors in various temperatures and performing prolonged standing and frequent physical motions
