Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Sr Mobile Engineer with one of our top clients in Miami, FL.
This is a contract to hire role, if you convert must relocate to Miami.
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
  • 5+ years of experience working on Native Android/iOS Development
  • Expertise in native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development
  • Experience with hybrid frameworks such as React Native or Flutter

Location: Miami, FL
Onsite expectation: 3x a week onsite in Miami, FL
**Open to relocation candidates
Pay range: $60-$63 an hour
Role Overview
The Senior Engineer, Software plays a critical role in the development and enhancement of mobile applications across iOS, Android, and hybrid platforms. This position is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile solutions while ensuring alignment with industry best practices and business objectives. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver features within an Agile framework, provide mentorship to junior developers, and stay updated with emerging mobile technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and architecture of mobile applications, selecting appropriate frameworks and technologies for native and hybrid solutions.
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and create technical documentation.
Develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and implement security measures to protect user data.
Optimize mobile applications for performance, battery efficiency, and responsiveness, addressing bottlenecks and latency issues.
Provide accurate development estimates, participate in Agile processes, and assist in troubleshooting technical issues.
Stay abreast of emerging mobile technologies to drive continuous improvement and lead proof-of-concept initiatives.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience working on Native Android/iOS Development.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development.
Experience with hybrid frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
