Senior Data Scientist LLM / AI-ML | Chantilly, VA (On-Site) | Active TS/SCI CI Required

Take2 Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support a high-impact intelligence mission on client site in Chantilly, VA. This role applies advanced Large Language Model (LLM) and AI/ML expertise to intelligence data, helping analysts and decision-makers extract actionable insight from complex, mission-critical datasets.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy LLM and AI/ML solutions to solve mission-critical intelligence analytic problems
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and analytic models using Python and SQL
  • Fine-tune, evaluate, and operationalize large language models for intelligence use cases
  • Collaborate with intelligence analysts and technical teams to understand mission needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
  • Develop and test new analytic methodologies to adapt to evolving mission requirements
  • Communicate findings and technical approaches clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to take a CI polygraph
  • Ability to work on client site in Chantilly, VA, 40 hours per week (no telework)
  • Hands-on expertise with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI/ML techniques
  • Proficiency with Python and SQL
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Data Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of related professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience fine-tuning or deploying LLMs in a production or mission environment
  • Experience with multi-INT data
  • Experience applying machine learning algorithms to intelligence data
  • Knowledge of graph databases and database design
  • Ability to learn new technologies, adapt to dynamic mission needs, and develop/test new analytic methodologies
