Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Lead React Native Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead the development of high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and implementing the mobile application architecture, ensuring that the codebase is clean and scalable, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences. What will you do?

  • Lead the development and architecture of mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable mobile app architecture, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to define app features and ensure a smooth development process.
  • Implement pixel-perfect, buttery-smooth UIs across both mobile platforms that match design specifications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to performance bottlenecks, bugs, and native-like performance.
  • Coordinate and lead daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and other agile development activities to ensure progress and project milestones are met.
  • Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and fostering an environment of continuous learning and collaboration.
  • Implement cutting-edge animations and transitions to create a dynamic and engaging user experience.
  • Ensure that applications are thoroughly tested and adhere to the highest code quality standards.
  • Utilize native APIs and leverage third-party libraries, such as Redux, to optimize app performance and handle asynchronous API calls.
  • Engage with the open-source community to stay up-to-date with the latest React Native developments and contribute to the ecosystem.
  • Transition existing React web applications to React Native to ensure consistency across web and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate on architectural decisions, guiding the team in best practices for code maintainability, scalability, and performance.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong expertise in React Native with proven experience building and deploying mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Mobile Application Architecture and the ability to design scalable, maintainable mobile apps.
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, ES6, and React Native best practices.
  • Experience with native mobile development on iOS (Objective-C/Swift) and Android (Java/Kotlin).
  • Ability to implement pixel-perfect UI based on design specifications with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and fix performance bottlenecks for native-like app performance.
  • Proficiency in Redux and State Management for asynchronous API calls and enhanced app performance.
  • Strong understanding of mobile UI guidelines, architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.), and mobile app lifecycle.
  • Ability to collaborate in an agile environment with teams through sprints, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure high-quality code and application stability.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and mentoring junior developers to help them grow technically and professionally.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
