Position Summary

As a Business Analyst at Cherokee Brick Company, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business operations and technology. Focusing on optimizing processes, reporting, and systems to enhance decision-making. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, technical fluency, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights and tools.


Key Responsibilities

The Business Analyst/Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding operations, sales, finance, and ITto understand business needs, identify process improvements, and translate requirements into effective technical solutions. This role involves analyzing data, designing reports and dashboards using SQL (preferably in a DB2 environment), and supporting system integrations using JavaScript or JSON. The analyst will also be responsible for documenting workflows, facilitating clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy, and providing training and support for users across the organization.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum2 years of experienceas a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and people
    skills; able to collaborate across departments and levels.
  • Excellent communication
    skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency inSQL; experience withIBM DB2is strongly preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge ofJavaScriptand/or working withJSONdata.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, reporting, and business process flows.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or logistics environments.
