Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join a top financial client's Business Rules Engineering & Strategy team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining rule-based systems that support critical business decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, rule authoring, SQL, and Agile methodologies. This is a long-term contract opportunity with a hybrid work arrangement in St. Louis, Missouri.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java
  • Create, manage, and optimize business rules using rule authoring tools
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data access and reporting needs
