They are seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to join their Workflow team, focusing on designing and implementing high-performance, distributed systems and event-driven microservices.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, develop, and enhance highly available, scalable backend services and APIs using Java and related technologies.
โ€ข Architect and implement microservices and distributed systems with a focus on performance, fault tolerance, and maintainability.
โ€ข Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, QA engineers, and other development teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
โ€ข Implement event-driven architectures and asynchronous communication patterns (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
โ€ข Own services end-to-end, from design through deployment and monitoring, ensuring high reliability and quality standards.
โ€ข Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture sessions, contributing to best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
Required:

โ€ข 8+ years of total software engineering experience in designing and building enterprise-grade applications.
โ€ข Proven experience in API development (RESTful and/or GraphQL) and microservice architecture.
โ€ข Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and data structures.
โ€ข Strong experience with distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event-based architectures.
โ€ข Hands-on experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases at scale.
โ€ข Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
โ€ข Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
โ€ข Proficiency with build tools such as Maven or Gradle, and familiarity with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).
โ€ข Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
โ€ข Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
