Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade applications that support digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, API development, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives, architectural standards, and performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications and RESTful APIs.
  2. Build scalable microservices and multi-tier web applications using modern software engineering practices.
  3. Develop and integrate HTTP-based APIs and GraphQL services.
  4. Participate in application architecture, system design, and technical solution development.
  5. Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  6. Perform application testing, debugging, performance optimization, and production support.
  7. Develop and maintain API documentation using Swagger or similar documentation frameworks.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  9. Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated build and deployment processes.
  10. Utilize cloud services and containerization technologies to support application deployment.

Required Qualifications

  3. Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  4. Experience building multi-tier, internet-facing web applications.
  5. Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core, and JavaScript.
  6. Experience developing Java web services and API-based solutions.
  7. Strong knowledge of RESTful services, XML, JSON, and modern application servers.
  8. Understanding of HTTP protocols, networking concepts, and internet architecture.
  9. Experience documenting APIs using Swagger or similar API documentation tools.
  10. Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools, including:

  16. Experience working with Kubernetes and application monitoring tools such as DataDog and Splunk.
  17. Experience working with AWS cloud services, including EC2, Lambda, and Serverless Computing.

  19. Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  20. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with GraphQL API development.
