The Vosyn internship is unique. Remuneration is equivalent to $32.00 CAD per hour payable in common shares of the Corporation at the then fair market value. For greater clarity, NO cash in-hand (in hourly rate or salary) will be paid to the Intern. Instead, Vosyn being an AI start-up, the upside is in potential future value of said shares based on the hours worked, billed and approved.

About Us: At Vosyn, we embrace the exciting, game-changing world of Artificial Intelligence, driving innovation and pioneering impactful projects across various industries. We are a trailblazing Language Synthesis AI firm reshaping global communication by dissolving language barriers and empowering users. We believe in fostering a culture of flexibility, continuous improvement, and solution-focused strategies. Here, every idea is welcomed, nurtured, and has the potential to scale to new heights. Currently, we're at the forefront of a significant IPO endeavor, truly a unicorn in the making. We invite you to be part of our journey and leave your imprint on the future of AI.

About the Role:
A Technical Product Owner (TPO) is an Agile-side product leader who owns the backlog for a development squad while bringing enough engineering depth to shape architecture decisions, manage technical debt, and translate product strategy into build-ready user stories. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and developers, the TPO maximizes customer value by prioritizing features, driving sprint goals, and validating that each release meets functional, performance, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Break down epics into clear, testable stories with acceptance criteria
  • Groom backlog and prioritize features, tech debt, and enablers
  • Define technical specs (APIs, NFRs); align architecture with business goals
  • Lead sprint planning, clarify scope, and validate delivery against Definition of Done
  • Coordinate releases with DevOps, CI/CD, and feature flags
  • Use analytics and customer feedback to guide backlog reprioritization
  • Communicate scope, risks, and trade-offs across teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2) and maintain audit-ready records
  • Apply WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and PDM (Precedence Diagramming Method) to structure work and map dependencies
  • Lead retrospectives and drive process/tooling improvements

About you:

  • Pursuing or recently completed Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, tech-focused Product Management MBA, or a related field.
  • You slice epics into crisp user stories, groom backlogs in Jira/Azure DevOps, and keep squads sprinting toward goals without blockers.
  • From APIs to data stores, non-functional requirements, and the trade-offs around scalability or technical debt, you speak the entire stack- leading confident conversations with architects, giving developers precise direction, and flagging risks early.
  • You absorb founders' big-picture goals, map them to concrete roadmaps, and rally engineering to deliver features that advance the company's strategy.
  • You take initiative to align the team, ignite momentum, and communicate actively so everyone-from developers to execs-moves in lockstep.
  • You monitor analytics, performance metrics, and A/B or canary tests and then re-prioritize the backlog based on evidence.
  • You turn deep technical details into business impact for product managers, designers, QA, exec sponsors, and customer-facing teams- keeping everyone aligned.
  • Retrospectives, velocity digs, and tooling tweaks energize you to boost quality and speed.
  • Clear communicator who thrives in fast-paced, multi-functional teams.

We believe exceptional talent often emerges from diverse paths. If you possess a profound curiosity, a genuine passion for continuous personal and professional growth, and a strong desire to apply your unique abilities to create significant impact within our team, we strongly encourage you to apply-even if your background doesn't align perfectly with every single qualification.

Why Join Us:

  • Be part of the invigorating journey of a start-up transitioning to an IPO.
  • Engage directly with senior management and strategic advisory board members.
  • Enhance your CV with a rich array of experiences unique to Vosyn and AI Venture Lab.
  • Gain hands-on experience contributing to projects that drive growth and make a lasting impact in a fast-paced startup environment.
