We are looking to hire a motivated, hands-on mid-level Java engineer to help design, build, and operate large-scale trading platforms. The group is responsible for FX trading and related services. Responsibilities
  • Closely work with architects and other team members and groups to develop and build complex applications that meet the needs of FX Engineering.
  • Design, development, and support of trading venues and related services.
  • Ongoing support and development of cloud services, including working with product development groups to build cloud-aware applications.
  • Develop and maintain automated processes to help prevent, identify, and resolve issues that impact service availability.
  • Identify and contribute to improvements across a broad range of areas such as cost savings, security, ease of use, and reliability.
  • Actively learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and practices, including AI-assisted development techniques.

  • Strong Java programming skills with experience writing clean, maintainable code.
  • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Compensation/Benefits Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $113,900 - $189,900.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
