Schwab Technology Services helps shape how clients manage their money by delivering innovative, reliable technology that supports our commitment to broaden access to investing and financial planning. In this role, you'll contribute to building and improving a distributed Java-based application ecosystem that uses modern microservices and micro-frontend patterns to deliver secure, accessible, high-performance web experiences. You'll strengthen your engineering skills by developing Angular user interfaces (including TypeScript, RxJS, state management, and component-based architecture) that integrate with Java back-end services-bringing thoughtful problem-solving to design and implementation decisions that impact client and business outcomes.
You'll work within an agile delivery environment where collaboration is essential-partnering with product owners, architects, and technology teams to clarify requirements, align to enterprise standards, and deliver resilient solutions. Your day-to-day work will span the software development lifecycle, from solution design and development through testing, release, and production support.   • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience (or relevant internship/academic projects) building applications using Java, Spring, and web services.

  • Exposure to containers and microservices concepts in cloud environments.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts and cloud deployment workflows.
