Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

In the Back-End Developer Intern role, youwill :

  • Work with the development team to coordinate the development of new features and resolve issues;

In the Full-Stack Developer Intern role, you will:

  • Participate in the development of Client Centre APIs in Java, Kotlin, and Nest;

  • Adjust unit tests to ensure the quality of the new development;

Software Engineering Claims

  • Build impactful claims features as a key member of an agile squad, from grooming and design through delivery.

  • Elevate the claims agent experience by refining and enhancing existing software-reducing friction, improving performance, and shipping improvements.

  • Work with senior developers to deliver quality products end-to-end by triaging defects, prioritizing fixes, and contributing to reliable, scalable production support

  • Learn from senior developers on software lifecycle management best practices, growing your craft across design, development, testing, deployment, and observability.

  • Technical Skills Required:Java development

  • Nice to Have: Agile/scrum, microservices, guidewire or P&C insurance experience

What you bring to the table:

  • Currently pursuing aBachelor's or Master'sdegree in a field related to software development, computer science, or anything relevant;

  • Availableto workwithus full-time, 35hoursperweek, for the Winter 2027Term(January to April)

  • Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Summer or Fall 2027following your internship

  • Understand the softwaredevelopmentlifecycle and be curious about continuous delivery pipelines and testing.

  • Strong analytical abilities andproblem-solvingskills.
