Job description

Travel: Approximately 30% (domestic and occasional international)
We are seeking a customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support our additive manufacturing systems, including aerosol jet technology. This mid-level role is ideal for a technically capable professional who enjoys working directly with customers to install, support, and troubleshoot advanced equipment while delivering a high level of service.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Install, commission, and validate additive manufacturing systems at customer sites
โ€ข Troubleshoot and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and software components
โ€ข Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
โ€ข Provide timely customer support via phone, email, and on-site visits
โ€ข Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve escalated technical issues
โ€ข Document service activities, findings, and recommendations
โ€ข Train customers on system operation, maintenance, and best practices
โ€ข Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Requirements
Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience
โ€ข 2-5 years of experience supporting technical equipment in the field or similar environment
โ€ข Experience in additive manufacturing, printing technologies, or advanced manufacturing preferred
โ€ข Working knowledge of integrated systems (mechanical, electrical, and software)
โ€ข Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Willingness to travel approximately 30%
