Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern - Summer 2027
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Employment Type: Full-Time Internship
For over 70 years Fishbeck has been building. As a 100% employee-owned firm, every team member has a stake in what we build together-our work, our reputation, and our future. Now we need to add a W/WW Intern to help us keep building.
Working with our W/WW team, you will support design and evaluation of W/WW systems.
What You'll Do
  • Support the design and evaluation of water and wastewater systems.
  • Analyze data and assist in preparing engineering reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers across multiple offices and disciplines.
  • Participate in site visits and client meetings to observe project conditions and progress.
  • Learn how infrastructure decisions impact communities and the environment.
What We're Looking For
  • Currently enrolled in a Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
  • Previous internship or project experience in water/wastewater is helpful but not required.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to meaningful work.
