You'll gain hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced professionals, and opportunities to build technical and business skills while making a meaningful contribution to a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing company.Position SummaryThe Engineering Intern will work alongside Biovire's Engineering team on projects involving AutoCAD drawings, facility improvements, capital projects, engineering documentation, and process improvement within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.This is a hands-on opportunity for a student interested in facilities, manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, or related engineering disciplines to apply classroom and CAD skills in a real-world environment while developing portfolio-worthy experience.What You'll Work OnCAD & Engineering DrawingsCreate and revise AutoCAD drawings for manufacturing, utility, facility, and equipment layouts Update existing drawings based on field verification, project changes, and completed work Support organization and maintenance of engineering drawings and files Facilities & Capital ProjectsSupport facility modifications, equipment installations, and capital improvement projects Assist with drawing packages and engineering change documentation Participate in field verification and redline updates Engineering DocumentationOrganize engineering files, drawings, and technical documentation Assist with equipment records and engineering standards Support preparation and maintenance of project documentation Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve engineering drawing management and workflows Assist with digitization and standardization of engineering documentation Support engineering project tracking and metrics What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED required Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree or technical certification in Engineering, Engineering Technology, CAD/Drafting, or a related field Working knowledge of AutoCAD required Revit and/or SolidWorks experience preferred Ability to read engineering drawings and P&IDs preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively Interest in facilities, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or process engineering Ability to work onsite at our Brighton, Michigan facility What You'll GainDirect mentorship from experienced Engineering professionals and leaders Hands-on AutoCAD and engineering documentation experience Exposure to capital projects, facility improvements, and pharmaceutical manufacturing Experience working in a regulated GMP environment Cross-functional exposure to Validation, Maintenance, Calibration, Manufacturing, Process Development, and EHS Portfolio-worthy engineering and CAD project experience
