Candidates must have effective written and oral communication skills, be eager to learn, willing to perform a variety of tasks and be a team player.A minimum of four years of experience in civil, highway or a relevant engineering field is required, with two years in a field inspection capacity.A Bachelor of Science Degree may be substituted for two years of experience. A NICET Level 3 is required for this position. A current State of Connecticut Professional Engineer's License or a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in a relevant field is also acceptable.Other certifications including NACE Coatings Inspection; ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor; NETTCP HMA Inspector, NETTCP Concrete Inspector, Soils and Concrete, ACI Technician and AWS/CWI are a plus.Candidates must be fully proficient in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel and construction reporting/quantity tracking software.Employees assigned to driving duties ("drivers") must have a current, valid US State driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Keville's driving policy. OSHA 10 certification is a condition of employment.Daily on-site presence is required, with occasional evening or weekend work during critical project phases or to meet project deadlines.
