About Swiss Re's Graduate Programme for Early-Career Talent

We're looking for intellectually curious, motivated early-career talent who are completing or have recently completed a bachelor's degree and want to grow, learn, and make a difference. In the US, this opportunity is designed primarily for recent undergraduate talent, though candidates with relevant master's or doctoral degrees may also be considered. If you have no more than three years of professional experience and fit this description, please apply for our rotational Swiss Re Graduate Programme, which starts Fall 2027.

You'll gain hands-on experience in the complex, multifaceted, and fast-paced world of reinsurance and commercial insurance, rotate into different local teams, and receive tailored training to build your expertise. You'll collaborate with teams across Swiss Re to turn ideas into practical solutions, support strategic initiatives, and gain exposure to areas including underwriting, claims, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, health and wellness, and client engagement.
Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Support innovation and transformation projects from early ideas through implementation.

  • Explore how digital tools, data, automation, and AI can improve processes, decisions, and client experiences.

  • Collaborate with business, technology, analytics, operations, and client-facing teams.

  • Develop your professional network and industry knowledge through exposure to clients, conference participation, webinars, and collaboration with colleagues across Swiss Re and the broader market.

About the Team:

We work across the organization to modernize underwriting and claims, explore emerging health and wellness opportunities, make better use of data and AI, improve client experiences, and turn new ideas into meaningful business outcomes.

We are a curious, collaborative team that enjoys solving complex problems, learning from different perspectives, and supporting one another. As a graduate, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of teams and topics while contributing to work that combines strategy, technology, creativity, and real-world execution.

About You:
Were looking for people who:

  • Have completed, or are about to complete, a bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Design, Healthcare, Finance, or a related field; relevant master's or doctoral degrees may also be considered
  • Have demonstrated academic rigor through course selection and performance; a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0 is expected
  • Have no more than three years of professional experience
  • Are intellectually curious and motivated to learn, connect ideas, and solve business challenges in innovative ways
  • Think analytically, solve complex problems, and enjoy working with data to identify opportunities and develop recommendations
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships and adapt your style to work effectively with diverse teams and perspectives
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, activities, and deadlines
  • Take ownership of your work and demonstrate initiative, adaptability, sound judgment, and attention to detail
  • Are self-reflective, seek feedback, and apply it to support continuous growth and development
