Position description

The Department of Chemistry anticipates openings for Postdoctoral Scholars throughout the 2026-27 Academic Year. Applications are being sought from recent Ph.D. graduates with backgrounds in various areas of Chemistry or a related field (degree date of 2022 or later).

* Inorganic or Organometallic Chemistry
* Organic Chemistry or Chemical Biology
* Physical, Atmospheric, or Analytical Chemistry
* Polymer, Materials, or Nanoscience Chemistry
* Theoretical Chemistry

This is an ongoing recruitment. Positions are dependent on extramural funding and research contracts of individual Principal Investigators. Initial appointments are for two-years and renewal will be dependent on availability of support. Salary will be based on University of California guidelines for the Postdoctoral Scholars and is commensurate with experience.
