ABOUTPROJECT-BASEDINTERNSHIP

Our internship program is designed to introduce students and recent grads to the inner workings of a sports nutrition company, to strengthen our work by the influence of fresh perspective and talent, and to teach skills in the following cross-departmentalareas:Research & Development, Science & Nutrition, People &Community, Sales,andCustomer Service.


We offer hands-on work experience on real projects, and exposure to a great company culture that is friendly, fun, and encourages a healthy and active life!

DETAILS

This is a project-basedinternship program, not by semesteror year-round.Time framesaredeterminedby projects, typicallybetween6-8 weeks, 5 hours per day, and 3 days per week.

This year, thisinternship will support projects across departments,providinga unique opportunity to experience different sides of the business.The tentativestart date for this internship iswithin the first two weeks of June.

We have a limited number of internships available each year- if you are interested, we suggest applying ASAP as the pool is competitive.

QUALIFICATIONS

In order toqualify forGU'sInternship Program, you must be...

  • at least 18 years of age AND
  • legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
  • be based in California during internship and be able to commute to Berkeley CA
  • enrolled (or pending enrollment) in college OR
  • a recent graduate (2 years post undergraduate or graduate degree)

TERMS

  • This is a paid internship and subject to the at-will nature of employment at Advanced Food Concepts, Inc., "GU Energy Labs." If accepted and placed, you will receive an individual acceptance offer letter which further details the terms and your rate of pay.
  • Interns are typically not eligible for companybenefits,they may however be eligible toparticipatein some of the on-site wellness programs.
  • Interns willbe requiredtosubmita written summary about their experience at the end of their internship.
  • This program doesnot proactivelyprovide educational credits. If you areparticipatingin a college or university program that accepts our program and provides educational credit for it, GU can provide verification of completion.
  • Wedo notoffer relocation or housingassistance.
