Job Summary:
The School of Nursing at Saint Peter's University invites applications for Adjunct Instructor positions in the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program.
We seek qualified nurse educators and healthcare professionals with expertise in advanced nursing practice, healthcare leadership, population health, nursing education, or related disciplines. Adjunct faculty are responsible for facilitating high-quality graduate instruction, engaging students in evidence-based learning, and supporting student success in a virtual environment.
Courses may include:
  • Health Care Finance and Managed Care
  • Advanced Pharmacology
  • Advanced Health Assessment
  • Advanced Pathophysiology
  • Research Design and Utilization
  • Nursing Theory

Adjunct faculty are expected to provide timely feedback, maintain academic standards, and contribute to a student-centered learning environment aligned with the mission of the University.

Tenure Information: Non-Tenure Track
Rate: $1,100 - $1,300 per credit
Qualification Standards:
Required:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or closely related health discipline
  • Current, unencumbered RN license (if applicable to course content)
  • Demonstrated expertise in the course subject area
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Commitment to excellence in graduate-level teaching and student engagement

Preferred:
  • Doctoral degree (DNP, PhD, EdD) in Nursing or related field
  • Graduate-level teaching experience
  • Experience teaching in an online or hybrid learning environment
  • Advanced practice certification (if applicable)
