Job description

Make a meaningful difference for students by providing top-notch speech and language services in an educational setting near Clemmons, NC. This full-time contract opportunity spans the 2026/2027 school year, ideal for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Clinical Fellow (CFY), or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). Collaborate with a supportive team and help students overcome communication challenges that impact their academic and social success.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), SLP Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY), or licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in North Carolina
  • Previous experience or internship in a school-based or pediatric environment preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary special education team
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, assessment tools, and therapy planning
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children of varied backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct therapy and support for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development, progress monitoring, and annual reviews
