Job description

This internship offers valuable experience in the insurance industry. As a summer intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting our company's mission by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of policy information while gaining hands-on experience in one of our many departments.
Placements include Personal Lines Underwriting, Commercial Lines Underwriting, Product Management, Accounting, Insurance Operations, Actuarial Services, Internal Audit, and Claims.
Final placement will be communicated prior to the start of the program.
Start Dates: May 17, 2027 or May 24, 2027
All interns will be required to work until at least Friday, August 6, 2027.

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze policy reports using various systems, ensuring accuracy.
  • Log data into spreadsheets and maintain organized records.
  • Assist department staff with various tasks, reports, and projects specific to individual departments.
  • Participate in group project alongside fellow interns, culminating in a presentation to our executive board.
  • Perform other functions and duties as assigned by the manager.

  • Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in good academic standing, with a GPA of 3.00 or above preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with a strong ability to navigate computerized systems.
  • Ability to take direction, follow through on tasks and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
