    • HVAC Mechanic/Building Engineer Fitchburg, MA:
      DAE Sung, LLC is currently seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic/Building Engineer Mechanic to support our contract at the Philip Philbin Federal Building, Fitchburg, MA.
      This is a full time union position. Benefits to include: Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays, Health & Welfare Benefits and Pension in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
      HVAC Mechanics will receive an hourly pay increase based on the job classification/qualifications/duties of HVAC Level I or HVAC Level III. Here are the job classifications/qualifications/duties:
      H.V.A.C Level I- $40.78 - Qualifications: One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties: HVAC Responsibilities, Pursue/receive HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license. Note: Effective 10/1/2026 hourly pay rate will be: $42.78 per hour per the CBA.
      H.V.A.C Level III - $47.93 - Qualifications: HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license. (Excess of 10 tons). One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties: HVAC Responsibilities. Note: Effective 10/1/2026 hourly pay rate will be: $49.93 per hour per the CBA.
      HVAC Level II $44.86 per hour and HVAC Level IV $51.00 per hour (HVAC/Supervisor Duties).
      HVAC Mechanic/Building Engineer must have a minimum of (5-8) years' experience in building maintenance and operation, maintaining facilities and working on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment. HVAC Mechanic must be competent to perform operations, preventive and corrective maintenance on BAS, boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems. Candidates must also have general maintenance knowledge on how to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
      • High School Diploma or G.E.D is required.
      • Universal EPA or CFC certification is required.
      • Technical training in HVAC is highly desired.
      • Must be willing to obtain/maintain NATE certification within 6 months of employment.
      • Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician license required.
