THE POSITION

FanDuel is seeking a Manager of Acquisition Strategy to lead acquisition strategy across our Sportsbook and Casino products. In this role, you will develop and execute initiatives that drive customer growth, optimize promotional investment, and identify new opportunities through data-driven insights. You'll partner closely with Media, Commercial, Analytics, Retention, Product, and Finance teams while leading and developing a direct report to deliver against key business objectives.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

  • Be a champion of FanDuel's Responsible Gaming Standards
  • Own the acquisition strategy across all regions and products which includes execution and reporting
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to execute promotional offers seamlessly across regions, segments, and products
  • Partner with Retention teams to ensure a strong loyalty and retention playbook for newly acquired acquisition cohorts
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies that drive revenue growth - profitably and responsibly
  • Define player proposition, segmentation, and tangible KPIs for sportsbook, casino cross-sell, and direct casino players, and ensure KPIs are effectively delivered
  • Identify "Moments that Matter" throughout the year - build coherent execution plans with cross-functional teams to dominate these moments
  • Consistently deliver actionable insights backed by customer data and research to drive decisions and gain alignment from senior leadership
  • Partner with Product to influence the prioritization of the product roadmap
  • P&L Ownership: Responsible for activation targets and promotional spend
  • Lead and develop an Acquisition Strategy Associate, providing coaching, prioritization, and career development while ensuring high-quality execution across key initiatives

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 5+ years of progressive career experience in a consulting, finance, marketing, or commercial role
  • Educational background in commerce or a quantitative field with strong GPA
  • Experience managing and coaching a team is a plus
  • Demonstrate ability to lead a project and excel in a cross-functional environment: this is a highly cross-functional role working with stakeholders across Product, Commercial, Brand, Operations, Finance, Analytics, VIP, etc.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to completing tasks when relied upon to deliver results
  • B2C experience is preferred with strong understanding of consumer behaviour
  • Interest in online Sportsbook & Casino is a plus

The applicable salary range for this position is $97,000 - $121,000 CAD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand.
