FALL 2026 - $16.00 PER HOUR PAID INTERNSHIP
With the possibility to start in the summer and to extend to Spring 2027!
Are you currently enrolled (or planning to enroll) in an Associates or Bachelor's Degree program in Video Production, Film, Media Studies, Broadcasting, or Communications? Come to the Foundation to get hands-on learning experiences while you complete your coursework, in an environment that will be flexible around your class schedule!
The AV Intern will support the organization's video production efforts by assisting with the creation and editing of video content used for marketing, business development, educational programming, and member engagement. Working closely with the Senior Video Producer and Audio-Visual Services team, this position will gain hands-on experience in video production while contributing to social media, website, event promotion, and educational content initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with video and audio production projects that support educational programs, conferences, marketing initiatives, podcasts, and social media.
  • Edit video and audio content using Adobe Premiere Pro, including basic motion graphics, titles, and graphic updates as assigned.
  • Capture interviews, testimonials, voiceovers, and gather supporting assets such as video, music, and graphics.
  • Organize, maintain, and archive video assets, project files, and media libraries according to department standards.
  • Assist with conference and event video production activities as needed.

Internship Schedule:
  • This internship is set for Fall 2026; however, we can start someone in the Summer 2026 if they have availability and interest. There is potential for an extension to Spring 2027, depending on business needs and candidate availability.
  • The target schedule for this internship will be 10-20 hours/week, between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-through-Friday. Since the majority of our regular staff are remote on Monday and Friday, some availability on Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday is strongly preferred.
  • It is preferred that the person have a set schedule throughout the duration of the internship (or at least per-semester), however, we can accommodate a flexible schedule for the right candidate.

Requirements
Required Education/ Experience:
The International Foundation will always consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Current enrollment in a degree program in Video Production, Film, Media Studies, Broadcasting, Communications, or a related field.
  • Some video production and editing experience through coursework, internships, freelance work, student organizations, or personal projects preferred.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:
  • Positive attitude, outgoing demeanor, and willingness to jump in and help in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or an equivalent professional video editing platform.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects, or equivalent creative design software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively.

Work Environment:
This position is expected to work 100% onsite from our corporate headquarters office in Brookfield, WI, Monday through Friday of each week. This is an office environment with typical office conditions, including lighting, noise, seating and equipment.
