About the Role

Launch your career with RNGD! As a paid, part-time Marketing Intern, you'll join a lean, fast-moving three-person marketing team — embedded in a company that actually has something worth talking about. You'll get hands-on experience in social media, content creation, and visual storytelling — producing real work that shows up on real channels. This isn't a coffee-and-copies internship. You'll be in the field, behind the camera, and in the edit.

Internship Experience Opportunities

  • Tell the Story: Assist in developing social media content — from concept to caption — for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms, helping bring the RNGD brand to life.
  • Maintain the Feed: Help manage content calendars, draft copy, schedule posts, and monitor engagement to keep RNGD's social presence active and consistent.
  • Support Campaigns: Assist the marketing team on campaigns, award submissions, press initiatives, and branded publications like the Renegade Journal.
  • Edit & Produce: Support video editing and post-production for short-form content, project spotlights, and event recaps.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with the Graphic Designer on visual assets and support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director on a variety of brand and business development initiatives such as creation of marketing collateral, presentations, community partnerships, and special initiatives.
  • Shoot & Create: Capture photo and video content on job sites, at company events, and in the office — contributing to RNGD's brand presence across social media and digital channels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic Focus: Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Film/Media Production, or related field preferred.
  • Visual Eye: Portfolio or examples of photo/video work — even personal projects — strongly encouraged.
  • Social Savvy: Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and short-form video content creation.
  • Tech Skills: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, or similar editing tools a plus.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-starter who takes initiative, asks good questions, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Preference given to rising juniors, seniors, and recent graduates; however, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Available to work in-office 16–20 hours per week, with additional hours available based on workload and availability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating content for social media, websites, newsletters, or other marketing channels.
  • Interest in construction, engineering, architecture, real estate, or related industries is a plus.
