Design, develop and implement innovative software solutions for critical safety systems in airbag systems. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of airbag systems. Architect and design the customer library, focusing on scalability, performance and maintainability. Develop, analyze and refine software requirements to align with project objectives. Make critical technical decisions impacting the system's architecture and design. Provide technical guidance and support to the development team as the internal primary point of contact for software-related questions. Effectively collaborate with global teams to ensure successful project execution. REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. 5 years of experience as a Software Architect, System Software Engineer or in an occupation involving Automotive Embedded Software development with C. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Analytic Methods (8D); (2) CMMI, A-SPICE, or processes; (3) System Overview including HW and Sensors; (4) AB-ECU, DOORS (Requirement Management Tool), ALM-CCM/CQ (Change Management Tool), SCM/MKS (Software Configuration Management Tool), Rhapsody/AMEOS (Software Design Tool) and QAC; (5) C language, Compiler, linker and debugger; and (6) Microcontrollers and automotive software development.
