We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Enterprise Applications team. In this role, you will help design, build, and maintain low-code, high-performance web applications that support our global logistics, MRO, and financial workflows. Working closely with senior developers and business analysts, you will turn complex user requirements into elegant, scalable internal and customer-facing tools. This is an excellent opportunity for a foundational developer eager to deepen their expertise in modern Oracle technologies and enterprise AI integrations. This role is based on-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Build, test, and deploy responsive web applications using Oracle APEX and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
  • Database Programming: Write clean, efficient, and secure SQL and PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, and triggers) to support application logic.
  • System Integration: Develop and consume RESTful web services (via ORDS / APEX_WEB_SERVICE) to connect internal systems with third-party logistics and aviation platforms.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Debug, optimize, and enhance existing APEX applications and legacy tools based on user feedback and technical requirements.
  • Modernization & AI: Assist in leveraging modern database features (such as Oracle AI Vector Search and Generative AI services) to streamline data extraction and automated workflows.
  • Version Control & DevOps: Utilize Git for source control and support the code migration process across development, QA, and production environments.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation, data models, and user guides to support long-term application lifecycle management.
Qualifications: 
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on software development experience (internship experience utilizing Oracle tech stacks will be strongly considered).
  • Core Oracle Stack: Strong foundational knowledge of Oracle APEX (Page Designer, Shared Components, Security Schemes) and strong SQL / PL/SQL writing skills.
  • Web Technologies: Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JSON.
  • API Development: Exposure to designing or consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Version Control: Experience using Git for code repository management and collaboration.
     
Preferred (Plus) Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
  • Experience or exposure to cloud environments (AWS , GCP or AZURE).
  • Understanding of modern Oracle Database features (19c/23c/23ai) or introductory knowledge of AI-driven development.
  • Prior experience or a strong interest in the aviation, aerospace, or 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) sectors.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate across global teams.
