Job description

Position Title: Social Media and Marketing Intern
Schedule Details: Monday - Thursday; 12-20 hours per week
Location: Baltimore, MD - In-office internship
This is an unpaid internship.
Requirements:
Experience and/or Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.
Required:
  • Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook)
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms
  • Comfortable on camera and experienced with short-form video content creation and basic editing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinker with a proactive, self-starter mindset

Preferred:
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar design software
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Buffer)
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
  • Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
