The Role
  • Provide specialty neurology consultations and manage inpatient and outpatient neurologic cases.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans, coordinating closely with Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging teams.
  • Utilize on-site CT, MRI, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and ultrasonography to guide case workups.
  • Lead and participate in clinical rounds, mentor interns and technicians, and contribute to a positive, teaching-focused culture.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based protocols; participate in referring veterinarian outreach as needed.
  • Daytime specialty service with coordinated handoffs to the emergency team; specific scheduling details reviewed during the interview.
Requirements
  • DVM or equivalent degree
  • Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Neurology
