POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Brand Communications Specialist will support marketing execution across both Vital Proteins and Garden of Life, ensuring consistent, on-brand delivery of campaigns and materials. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple workstreams and collaborate effectively within a matrixed, cross-functional organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage media trafficking, including asset delivery and CreativeX compliance checks, to ensure timely and accurate campaign execution.
  • Organize and manage team meetings, including scheduling, agendas, and follow-up on action items.
  • Coordinate Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review of marketing materials to ensure compliance prior to launch.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional marketing team members - including Brand Marketing, Media, Creative, Influencer and Owned Channels to support consistent brand execution.
  • Liaise with finance and manage purchase order (PO) processes to keep projects on budget and on schedule.
  • Provide additional operational and administrative support to the brand communications team as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in brand communications, marketing, or a related role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and the ability to translate business objectives into communication plans.
  • Experience in the health and wellness industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media strategies.

SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally within a matrixed organization.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet strict deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Proficiency in communication tools and platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Strong preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey. 

The approximate pay range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
