By the end of the internship, students will have strengthened their technical knowledge, professional communication skills, and understanding of how intelligent building systems support occupant comfort, operational efficiency, and sustainability goals. This is an in person opportunity in our Randolph Office.
THE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with the installation, startup, and commissioning of building automation and HVAC control systems
• Support point-to-point checkout, device verification, and functional testing activities
• Learn to read and interpret control drawings, wiring diagrams, engineering specifications, and sequences of operation
• Assist in troubleshooting sensors, actuators, control panels, and communication networks including BACnet and Modbus
• Support technicians and engineers with field documentation, system reporting, and project records
• Participate in system integration and verification activities on new construction and retrofit projects
• Observe and assist with customer training and system turnover processes
• Work closely with project managers, field technicians, engineers, and customers to support successful project execution
• Follow all company safety standards, site requirements, and OSHA guidelines
• Gain exposure to building performance, energy efficiency, and sustainable building operations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
