Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack .NET Developer to join our Risk Insight team within the financial services domain. This role involves leading and participating in complex initiatives, designing and developing robust applications, and ensuring compliance and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative Agile environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats on a small, dynamic team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or contribute to complex software initiatives in the financial services domain.
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and document applications using Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure quality, security, and compliance of supported systems and applications.
  • Provide technical support and consultation for application-related issues.
  • Create test data and perform interface and unit testing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet compliance and risk management requirements.
  • Mentor and assist team members in advanced software development.
  • Participate in daily Scrum meetings and Agile ceremonies.
  • Support BAU technology while contributing to long-term system redesign efforts.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6+ years of full stack development using Microsoft technologies (.NET, .NET Core).
  • Strong experience with SQL Server, complex SQL queries, and SSIS.
  • Experience with ETL processing, messaging systems, and handling large databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (APIs, microservices, cloud architecture).
  • Exposure to Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of Agile development practices.
  • Experience in financial services or capital markets is a strong plus.

Project & Team Details:

  • Work on Risk Insight, a data warehouse aggregating market risk data.
  • Heavy reliance on SSIS for data integration and SQL for transformation.
  • Front-end components in Angular, with new features being developed in the cloud.
  • Team composition: 4 developers onsite, 3 offshore.
  • 2–3 year roadmap for system redesign; this role supports existing tech during transition.
  • Typical day includes handling business requirements, special projects, and tech patches.
