Job description

Are you excited to design and build platform capabilities that make complex integrations scalable, reliable, and effortless to operate? Do you enjoy turning ambiguous technical and operational challenges into intuitive customer-facing experiences, powerful internal tools, and durable architectural solutions? Are you energized by influencing technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and shaping how APIs, workflows, observability, and platform services come together across a modern SaaS ecosystem? If so, we invite you to be a part of our innovative team.
As a Staff Full-Stack Engineer at Ridgeline, you'll help define and deliver the next generation of our integrations platform, building solutions that power customer onboarding, operational efficiency, observability, and data connectivity across the investment management ecosystem. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, Customer Experience, Security, and Engineering teams to solve complex cross-functional problems and create scalable platform capabilities that reduce operational burden while improving customer outcomes. Our team of engineers are building with cutting-edge technologies-like Claude Code and Cursor-in a fast-moving, creative, progressive work environment.
At Ridgeline, how we work matters as much as what we build. Ridgeliners act like owners, choose growth over comfort, and communicate with transparency. We assume positive intent, bias toward action, and bring solutions-not just problems. We celebrate wins, learn from setbacks, and thrive in a resilient, collaborative, high-performing culture. If this excites you, we'd love to meet you!
You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
The impact you will have:
  • Design and deliver full-stack platform features across Integrations Hub, managed integrations, Data Share workflows, integration observability, and internal tooling.
  • Help define the technical direction for Ridgeline's integrations platform, including how integrations, APIs, operational tooling, and customer-facing workflows fit together.
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, CX, API Engineering, Security, and other engineering teams to clarify requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and drive execution.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully throughout the SDLC to accelerate research, prototyping, implementation, testing, documentation, and review, while ensuring outputs are accurate, secure, maintainable, and production-ready.
  • Build scalable, maintainable services and user experiences that reduce one-off work and improve customer onboarding and supportability.
  • Make integration health easier to understand and act on through clearer status models, richer process views, actionable logs and alerts, and streamlined troubleshooting workflows.
  • Lead technical discovery for ambiguous initiatives and translate open-ended product or operational needs into concrete architecture and implementation plans.
  • Set a high bar for code quality, testing, operational readiness, documentation, and long-term maintainability.
  • Mentor and support engineers across the team through design reviews, code reviews, technical guidance, and thoughtful delegation, including modeling effective and responsible AI-assisted engineering practices.

What we look for:
  • Strong experience building and operating enterprise-grade production software across both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Solid architectural judgment and the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs between speed, quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Experience designing APIs, services, workflows, and user-facing product experiences.
  • Comfort working with ambiguous requirements and shaping them into executable plans.
  • Strong communication skills, especially with cross-functional partners and adjacent engineering teams.
  • A track record of leading complex technical work without needing heavy direction.
  • Strong ownership instincts, including following work through deployment, production support, and iteration.
  • Curiosity and judgment in using AI-assisted development tools to increase leverage while maintaining accountability for the final product.
  • The ability to mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar of the team.

Bonus:
  • Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, including tools such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar.
  • Experience improving observability, troubleshooting workflows, or support tooling.
  • Experience building product surfaces that make complex technical workflows easier for customers, operators, or internal teams.
  • Familiarity with event-driven or streaming integration patterns (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub)
