RESPONSIBILITIES


We are looking for a talented developer to join our team and contribute across the full software development lifecycle as part of an agile, cross-functional team.
•    Develop and maintain web applications using React, TypeScript, and Python
•    Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, following best practices
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams
•    Contribute to system architecture and design decisions 
•    Ensure code quality and reliability through code reviews and automated testing
•    Troubleshoot and resolve defects, and contribute to agile processes and continuous improvements

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Degree in Computer Science, in a related field or equivalent professional experience
•    4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role
•    Strong experience with Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
•    Experience developing web interfaces using React or similar technology  
•    3+ years of experience developing APIs (e.g. REST)
•    Experience working with relational databases
•    Experience with authentication mechanisms (e.g. OAuth, OIDC)

Desired:

•    Experience with python frameworks such as FastAPI
•    Experience with CI/CD
•    Experience in system design and architecture
•    Experience with development and collaboration tools such as GitLab, Jira, and Confluence
•    Experience working in an agile development environment

WORK LOCATION

Remote within Canada. Candidates must be based in Canada and able to attend occasional in-person meetings at our Montreal, QC office.
