Position Available: Procurement Analyst
Job Summary: The Procurement Analyst supports activities for imported goods by analyzing supplier data, costs, contracts, logistics, and compliance requirements. This role partners closely with sourcing, product management, logistics, finance, and quality teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of international products. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of global trade, and experience of working with overseas suppliers
Essential Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies across ERP systems, vendor quotes, and internal pricing tools to ensure data accuracy.
  • Support RFQ/RFP processes by gathering supplier quotes, organizing bid comparisons, and assisting with cost analysis.
  • Assist in reviewing supplier pricing, validating cost components, and identifying variances.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to collect data needed for sourcing and pricing decisions.
  • Maintain vendor scorecards and track supplier performance metrics (cost, quality, delivery, service).
  • Support contract tracking and ensure pricing and terms are accurately reflected in internal systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with packaging transitions and buy-down efforts.
  • Assist with freight and logistics cost tracking, including ocean freight and inbound transportation.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives through data collection and analysis.
  • Maintain supplier master data and procurement documentation within ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Ensure purchasing activities align with import/export requirements, Incoterms, and company policies.
  • Coordinate and maintain documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
  • Assist with audits related to trade compliance and supplier documentation.
  • Build and maintain basic procurement reports and dashboards (spend, supplier performance, lead times).
  • Identify data inconsistencies and support process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Demand Planning, Logistics, Finance, and Quality teams to support daily operations.
  • Monitor lead times and assist in identifying potential supply risks.
Skills amp; Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing (internships or early-career experience acceptable).
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic data analysis).
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes, inventory, and supply chain operations.
  • Exposure to international sourcing, Incoterms, or landed cost concepts is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) or similar tools preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and validate data.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, or a related industry is a plus.
