This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career software developer to work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative Agile environment while building modern web applications. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, contribute to both backend and frontend development efforts, and grow their technical skills while supporting high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the development and integration of RESTful APIs.
  • Build and maintain responsive user interfaces that integrate with backend services.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
  • Develop unit tests and assist with integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, QA personnel, DevSecOps engineers, UI/UX designers, and other team members throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Troubleshoot software defects and assist with debugging and issue resolution.
  • Document application functionality, technical designs, and implementation details.
  • Support software deployments, application maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Learn and apply secure software development practices appropriate for federal software environments.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • 0-3 years of professional software development experience, or equivalent internship/co-op experience.
  • Experience developing applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
  • Familiarity with one or more modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Basic understanding of C#, object-oriented programming principles, and software development best practices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database platforms.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and work in a collaborative Agile environment.
  • Must be available to work full-time onsite in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
  • U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance are required.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
