Job description

Newly Reopened Opportunity !To all cleared Psychologist. Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS) is seeking a highly skilled and licensed Organizational Consulting Psychologist at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Core Duties: Practices within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.

Adheres to appropriate Army OTSG/MEDCOM, DHA, and/or Combatant Command Force Heath Protection policies for deployment assessments. Provides subject matter expertise and consultation to commanders or unit leadership (AD or DA CIV) on human performance factors. This may include topics such as applying policy, work schedule issues, managing maladaptive behaviors, resilience training, environmental challenges, motivational strategies, etc.

Provides leadership coaching to help leaders at all levels leverage their personal leadership skills to maximize performance in personal, mission and organizational goals. Provides coordination and liaison services between leadership and installation medical resources to identify appropriate resource needs for individuals and mission performance. Develop training and education for individuals and work groups that merge science and best practices of organizational and individual health and wellness with current DOD and Army policy.

Travels to MSC's (CONUS/OCONUS) as directed by the OTCS at least 8 times per PoP. Travel Time: OCPs shall be required to visit each designated location within their area of responsibility for the purpose of providing supportive services, briefings and/or data collection. For domestic travel, the Psychologist shall spend three days at each location per trip and for international travel, the Psychologist shall spend five days at each location per trip.

This travel schedule does not include special travel for critical incident events, requested training, or attendance at leadership conferences specified by INSCOM leadership.Minimum Qualifications: Degree: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). Education: Graduate from an American Psychology Association-accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or Industrial and Organizational psychology. Internship/Residency: Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association

Security Clearance: Interim Secret clearance preferred. Will upgrade to TS/SCI clearance. Experience: Minimum of six (6) years full-time treatment experience post-licensure; documented treatment supervision, oversight, and management experience.

Experience working with military servicemembers in a behavioral health environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in organizational psychology; organizational change management and communication; and operational consultation and liaising. Experience in training program development, behavioral interventions, critical incident response, public speaking, and case management.

Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands. Basic Life Support (BLS): possess and maintain current course completion documentation for BLS through an American Heart Association and/or Red Cross-approved training program Knowledge/Skills Ability to practice at the independent level with high ethical standards and demonstrate a working knowledge of professional standards and image in delivering psychological services. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups of diverse backgrounds, including enlisted personnel, officers, senior military and civilian leadership, spouses and other family members.

Ability to develop, prepare, and present formal briefings and speeches to INSCOM leadership (at all echelons). Understanding of the military lifestyle and culture is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally and work as part of a team with maturity, professionalism, positive attitude, tact and good judgment.

Ability to develop internal and external communication products, including but not limited to emails, flyers, presentations, and reports to convey information and facilitate stakeholder and senior leadership buy-in. A flexible individual who can meet multiple stakeholder needs, ability to meet tight deadlines, and has comfort in domestic and foreign travel. Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, such as, but not limited to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Possible $10,000.00 bonus for right candidate The salary range for this position is $170,000 - $180,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including benefits
