We're looking for Level 3 Software Engineers to join Snap Inc! This role will offer opportunities to join teams that are focused on various technical tracks, including mobile (iOS or Android), backend and full-stack.

What you'll do:

  • Work on challenging technical projects that align with business and product needs

  • Develop highly performant code to impact Snap's products and technology

  • Learn and apply new software engineering skills

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong computer science fundamentals

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional partners

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent years of experience

  • Experience coding in an industry-standard language (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Swift, Python, C++)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Software Engineer internship or industry experience

  • Experience picking up software, frameworks and APIs

  • Experience with mobile apps and/or databases

  • A passion for Snapchat and creativity!

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $118,000-$176,000 annually.


Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $112,000-$167,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
