What is an internship fixed wing pilot?

Internship Fixed Wing Pilots are aspiring aviators who are participating in a structured internship program to gain hands-on experience flying fixed wing aircraft, such as airplanes, under the supervision of licensed pilots and instructors. These internships are designed to provide practical flight training, exposure to daily aviation operations, and insight into the aviation industry.
