Job description

As a Program Manager within our Haiyang 5&6 program team, you will lead the successful execution of assigned scopes within the Haiyang 5&6 I&C delivery contract. This role combines direct scope management along with broader strategic program oversight, ensuring alignment across scope, schedule, cost, and risk for various areas of responsibility. You will manage complex I&C delivery activities, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and serve as the primary interface with the customer for assigned execution areas.

You will report to the Project Director, Haiyang 5&6 and will be based out of either Cranberry Township, PA or Warrendale, PA. This is a mobile role that is expected on site 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own program management of assigned I&C scopes within the Haiyang 5&6 program, including scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement integrated execution strategies, ensuring alignment with contract milestones
  • Provide guidance and oversight to supporting PMs, project support resources, and matrixed resources throughout life of program.
  • Ensure progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain contract requirements.
  • Ensure contract obligations are fulfilled with quality, on time, and within assigned budget through coordination with engineering, procurement, suppliers, mfg and assembly facilities, and project controls teams.
  • Serve as the primary interface with the customer for areas of assigned scope
  • Report program status, risks, and opportunities at various organizational levels.
  • Ensure adherence to nuclear safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Manage work in financial, scheduling, and document management systems.
  • Identify and communicate lessons learned for future improvement.  Implement ongoing improvements in own area.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline required.
  • PMP certification preferred. MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience managing large, complex EPC or nuclear projects.  Emphasis on I&C strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
  • Proficient in project management tools (Primavera P6, SAP, ARM) and Earned Value Management.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400.00 to $163,000.00 per year.
