Job description

Individual and Family Therapy PLLC is a group private practice located in Homewood, IL and Matteson, IL. We are looking to expand our team with a Clinical Supervisor who is a self-starter, organized, and genuinely passionate about helping clients and other clinicians.
JOB DESCRIPTION
OBJECTIVE
The Clinical Supervisor will be able to use knowledge of clinical interventions and supervisory skills to aid the clinical team in meeting the company's goal of providing quality therapeutic care to clients. This is an eclectic role with many potential growth areas, so we are looking for a Clinical Supervisor who will be able to join the team and contribute where needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide effective communication to all staff and employees regarding management and clinical needs.
  • Respond to emails within hours upon receipt of email
  • Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours of providing clinical services.
  • Maintain a modified caseload, meeting the general requirements outlined in the therapist job description.
  • Maintain productivity quota based on tiered pay scale.
  • Provide consistent clinical supervision to pre-licensed therapists and/or interns including feedback about clinical interventions, ethical dilemmas, documentation standards, etc.
  • Engage in weekly supervision with pre-licensed therapists per month.
  • Review and sign clinical documentation completed by pre-licensed therapists.
  • Ensure pre-licensed therapists are meeting productivity requirements
  • Serve as professional representation for company through punctuality, professional attire, and effective communication.
  • Represent company at public events and marketing initiatives.
  • Participate in administrative meetings including, but not limited to, monthly staff meetings, company leadership meetings, and supervision meetings with CEO.
  • Assist in content creation for social media and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide weekly reports of clinical compliance.
  • Participate in quarterly review of budget.
  • Complete payroll for supervisees each pay period.
  • Provide direction regarding caseload management and internal operations that impact quality of care provided to clients.
  • Provide disciplinary action as needed for supervisees.
  • Assist in the development of staff retention and recruitment initiatives.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new therapists (scheduling interviews, training/orientation, etc.
  • Assist in the clinical development of clinical team.
  • Assist in the development of company operations and policies.
  • Other tasks as designated by Chief Executive Officer.

Requirements:
  • Must have completed a minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related mental health field.
  • Previous experience with providing clinical supervision and auditing clinical documents (preferred).
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Master's level degree from an accredited college or university.
  • License to practice in the State of Illinois or Indiana; (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW).
  • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in clinical practice and business operations.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to determine and provide the appropriate modality of service and setting that best meets patient needs; in-office (face to face) and telehealth (audio and visual).
  • Skilled at establishing and maintaining positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and other business partners.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
