Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Borden Dairy is seeking a client-focused and results-driven professional to join our team as a Merchandiser. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for all aspects of merchandising, including stocking, rotating, and providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and product visibility.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Call on assigned accounts to communicate sales promotions and merchandising updates.
  • Execute plan-o-grams, including stocking, fronting, facing, and rotating products.
  • Rearrange shelving, clean refrigerated sections, and restock shelves as needed.
  • Ensure product displays are professional, appealing, and properly signed.
  • Reset displays and report any issues or opportunities related to products or merchandising.
  • Negotiate for additional shelf and promotional space.
  • Conduct store surveys and market analyses to understand customer behavior and optimize product placement.
  • Capture display conditions upon arrival to identify opportunities for sales growth.
  • Supports team and organizational goals through additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of merchandising experience in the field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read, write, communicate, and perform required tasks in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and conscientious work ethic.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, self-motivate, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, fine hand manipulation, and kneeling.
  • Extensive driving required to service assigned customer base.
